Luxury Leathers
Alligator
Genuine American alligator, not crocodile or caiman. There’s a reason we recommend genuine American alligator above all other skins: it’s beautiful, resilient and incredibly durable. Alligator skin is synonymous with luxury, so it comes as no surprise the smooth American alligator belly hides are used in the production of high-end merchandise in the world of fashion and design. Tomasso Arditti uses only genuine American alligator to create a finished product worthy of the most discerning taste.
Ostrich
Genuine South African Ostrich. Ostrich is a luxurious leather well known for its softness, flexibility and durability. In spite of its softness, ostrich is unsurpassed for its tactile strength. It is, in fact, one of the strongest leathers available. Naturally occurring oils in the leather contribute to its durability, preventing cracking, even under extreme temperatures and sun exposure. The unique and exclusive pattern of quill or feather sockets gives ostrich the distinguished look sought after by manufacturers of the highest quality leather products.
Pirarucu
This giant freshwater fish is native to the Amazon and the Essequibo river basins of South America. They can grow to nearly 15 feet, and their scales form a durable but flexible armor.
Stingray
This beautiful leather is up to 25 times more durable than cowhide. Its pebbled texture can be smoothed into a beautiful light-catching finish that resembles tiny, flat pearls.
Sturgeon
Highly prized European skins, their distinctive marks are a row of horn-like bumps. We have a very limited selection, and once they're gone, they're gone.
